I thought I would do a quick update in-between doing paperwork for two new CNA’s this morning. 🙂 I toured the new addition yesterday, and was excited to see trim being installed on the windows on the east wing – it is just beautiful! The main connecting hallway has been mostly painted, and they are in the process of painting the dining room. On the west wing, the bathroom walls are being tiled; the tile is a rectangular shape and is a speckled tan color.
Another exciting thing that is going on (and has been eagerly watched from the dining room windows), is the landscaping taking place in the new courtyard. The guys from Shady Waters Lawn Care/Landscaping out of Halstead have been exercising their brains and brawn by manuevering those heavy rocks that I mentioned in an earlier post into just the right spots to form a beautiful double waterfall. They are not quite finished with it yet, but it already looks good! They actually had it running on Friday, and as I stepped outside onto the new patio the sound and the sight of the water rushing over the rocks was a delight! I can already tell that this will be a favorite spot for our residents to spend time relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.
